Jim and Lynn Duncan are a couple looking forward to their retirement that is coming up mid 2018 in a different way than most people. Retirement to some may mean travel, golf and hobbies because now you have the time and finances to do so after working hard all your life. This is not true for Jim and Lynn, yes there will be some of that but their focus and passion is in feeding and showing love to the homeless.

It started back in 2015 when Jim and Lynn would pick occasional Saturday mornings to prepare bagged lunches in their home and take it into downtown Atlanta and distribute it among the homeless. They would pack up their SUV with lunches and sometimes even have blankets to give to those living on the street. The more they did this, the more their passion grew to take it a step further. That is when they prayed about it and was led to start a non-profit called Love Gives Ministries, Inc. Today, Love Gives Ministries, Inc. is a 501 (c)3 non-profit organization registered with the State of Georgia.

 Love Gives Ministries’ goal is to eventually have the means to purchase a small food truck. This would enable them to serve hot meals while being more mobile throughout communities and cities in Georgia. Jim and Lynn are committed to living out their passion to serve and to share God’s blessings with those who are in need.
